This fly is fantastic for pulling all year round. I find myself fishing damsel fly patterns most times in the summer and fall on the point or middle dropper. This bug is what I would tie on most times than not when fishing a new lake just based on the profile and color; no matter what, you can depend on this fly working well wherever you fish.

The olive and chartreuse bead also make a great combo for slightly stained water when lakes are turning over in the spring

Best fished around the margins and over weed beds on intermediates and Di 3’s
