An often overlooked fly pattern that flat out puts fish into the net. Cased caddis are very prevalent in many western streams making this a popular food source for trout. This fly is a true searching pattern that we like to fish as an anchor pattern in deep runs. Try actively animating this fly while drifting and you might be pleasantly supersized with the results.
